All Romance Ebooks Reader Review on Feb 28, 2012
Set in a distant time and land, this historical romance is beautifully written and brings that time to life, complete with its political realities and the challenges lovers face when marriage is usually an exchange of power, wealth and land rather than a merging of two hearts. It is not long, but so well written that the story doesn’t suffer. Really worth the time and effort to read and one I enjoyed greatly.”

“Whew! What an attention grabbing, heart-wrenching, sigh-worthy ride of a read! It grips you from the first pages and doesn’t release it’s hold until it finishes, maybe not even then.”

“This was a sweet romance that had a classic romance reader feel to me. I’m a fan of the older Harlequin style romances, if you are as well this book will definitely be one to add to your list of books to read. The story flows nicely and it was a very enjoyable read.”

starstar star starstar LOVED IT!!, January 25, 2012
“I read this novella while I was on the elliptical machine at the gym. I was instantly absorbed in the story and the characters. I love being in my medieval storybook world and it was just long enough for me to finish my workout. The story was really enjoyable – I highly recommend it!”

starstar star starstar  I Loved It!, January 26, 2012
“I like the way the story caught you right from the start and made you wonder just what was going on. I loved the fact that she didn’t let him walk all over her, and I wanted more than TWICE to shoot him myself. I have read this more than once and will again. A great read!”

“This is a short novella. It’s a sweet story. Good descriptions and the characters are well rounded. I enjoyed reading about Jayce and Reese. Jayce is very open, strong, and sweet. Reese gives you the feeling of a sweet, sensitive man under his extremely gruff exterior. I would like to read more from this wonderful author”

Customer Reviews from Barnes & Noble:

starstar star star “This was a good read. The story itself is a short story, but is really good. It is another that will stay in my library.   Mistrust that leads to anger leads to discovery to at last love. The end of the story has a unique twist that could lead to another story.  The excerpts at the end of the book have got me hooked into finding them.”

“This is a 200 page novella. I don’t usually read novella’s because they feel rushed. Couldn’t put down. Had me from the first page. Will definitely read others from this author.”
